Mother’s Day is upon us. Springtime, flowers, the time of year to take a few moments and praise mom for all that she does, and all that she means to us.

In the world of fiction (and let’s face it, sometimes in the real world) mothers may be a bit… high-strung. Anxious. Excitable. Vicious. Deadly.

Oh, there’s no doubt that their intentions are good – usually. It’s hard work being a mom. The screaming toddlers, the conniving teens, the duplicitous adult children that just don’t listen. 

This issue offers stories about demented moms (check out our contest page!), and a dabbling of futuristic horror that can’t be missed. So, sit back, relax, turn Mom (and everyone else) on mute and enjoy the read!
