They say that we know more about our own moon than we do about the Earth’s oceans. Water is sneaky, it’s insidious, and it’s the reason we have snippets of caution like, The sea keeps its secrets, and Claimed by the sea. There’s also, What the tide takes it seldom returns and The still water watches.
Is it any wonder that water refreshes us, replenishes us, and yet scares the piss out of us at the same time?
We received so many great story submissions for this contest that we are pleased to report that we have 13 Honorable Mentions, an all-time record. Keep in mind that we only notify the grand prize winner, so take a quick peek and even if yours isn’t among the lucky 13, all of them are most definitely worth a read.
